Vincent Roy Margera was born on 3 July 1956, in Chester, Pennsylvania, USA. He was a reality television personality best known for his appearances in the series “Jackass” and the related spin-offs such as “Viva La Bam”, “CKY” and “Haggard”. Many know him more through his nickname Don Vito and his relation to his nephew, reality star and professional skateboarder Bam Margera. The various efforts he’s made helped raise his wealth prior to his passing on 15 November 2015.

Prior to his appearance in “Viva La Bam”, a lot of people were already familiar with him through “Jackass” and “CYK”, which included most of the family. Most of his appearances were comedic, as unintelligible subtitles would often be put into his scenes. He was also often the victim of pranks set up by his nephew Bam. Vito was supposed to be featured in “Jackass Number Two”, but he was removed post-production because of problems with the law. A run-in with the police lessened his net worth because the studio decided to remove him from the cast. The most recent appearances he made were in a music video entitled “Put It Down”, and in the DVD film “Dunn and Vito’s Rock Tour”.

The reason for his arrest and eventual removal from the series was due to being accused of inappropriately touching a couple of 12 year old girls. He pleaded not guilty, but was found guilty of counts of sexual assault on a minor which led to 10 years probation. For his personal life, it is known that prior to his death he was living in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He was never married, and had difficulties with health due to obesity. He also suffered from strabismus, an eye affliction that generally made him blind in one eye. Problems with alcohol and depression also came to him especially after his arrest. In 2015, he was found collapsed on the floor and was rushed to the hospital where he remained in a coma. He died from kidney and liver failure as a result of alcoholism and obesity.
