Claire-Anne Callens is a popular Belgian fashion designer who is best known as the mother of Lance Stroll, who is a racing driver who competes under the Canadian flag in Formula One. He has been driving for Aston Martin since 2021, after previously driving for Williams and Racing Point. In 2014, he became Italian F4 champion; in 2015, Toyota Racing Series champion; and in 2016, FIA European Formula 3 champion. From 2010 to 2015, he was part of the Ferrari Driver Academy.
He achieved his first podium finish, a 3rd place, at the 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, becoming the second-youngest driver to finish an F1 race on the podium and the youngest to do so during his rookie season.
In 2020, Stroll competed in the Turkish Grand Prix and took first place. He has also dabbled in endurance racing, taking part in the 24 Hours of Daytona race in 2016 and 2018.
